Teams with a CONSISTENT SCHEDULE
Facilities: This team works diligently behind the scenes to maintain a spirit of excellence in every area of our church. Serving opportunities include baptism, conferences and special events.
Connect Team: This friendly team welcomes new visitors and helps them connect into the life of Citygate, from getting the most out of the service and meeting new people to getting involved in connect groups, the Growth Track and the Dream Team.
Citygate Kids: This team creates an environment where children are consistently exposed to the real love of Jesus. They intentionally invest in the lives of our children through worship, videos, small groups, greeting, games and more.
Citygate Worship: Through vocals, instruments, or audio engineering, this dynamic team prepares the way for our guests to encounter the presence of the living God.
Kids Check-in: This team welcomes families as they arrive at our Citygate Kids areas and facilitates the check-in process that ensures children are cared for effectively and efficiently.
Prayer Team: This team of trained intercessors covers the weekend and midweek services in prayer, preparing the way for the Lord. Join this team that is blazing the trail for God in our city!
Razzle Dazzle: This team facilitate Citygate's weekly Parent / Carer and Toddler group. Whether you connect with the Parents / Carers through a friendly chat, or help to set up and clear down, you will know that you are having a major investment into our local community.
Technical Production: Bring your creativity and tech savvy to this team by delivering the Word and worship through camera, lighting, and other visual elements.
Steward Team: This vital team prepare people for a positive worship experience by welcoming and assisting them to a seat, facilitating the offering, and maintaining a distraction-free environment.
Citygate Youth: Join the team that is building the next generation, dynamic worship experiences, relevant Connect Groups and fun socials!
Small Group Leadership: We believe that real life change takes place in the context of relationships. As a Small Group Leader, you have the greatest opportunity to connect with others, fulfill your passions, develop your gifts and live out the Great Commission.
Discover Christianity: From following up responses on a Sunday service through to enabling a Connect Group specifically for new Christians, this team, at the very heart of the Citygate mission, is here to help people become committed disciples of Jesus Christ.
Food+: Food+ is Citygate’s compassion programme. Volunteers serve monthly on Saturdays to distribute much-needed fresh and non-perishable food to families suffering from Food poverty in our local community. We also have one-off DIY and decorating days. Join us in serving our community.
Teams with a flexible schedule
Admin Support: This team utilises their gifts of administration and organisation to help Citygate function to the best of our ability.
Kingdom Builders: Members of this team use the gift of giving to help fulfill the vision of Citygate Church. Through strategic financial offerings above their tithe, they support projects impacting our city, nation and world.
Coaching Team: Qualified Members of the Coaching Team have the privilege of propelling people towards fulfilling life dreams; whether they be personal, business or ministry.
Pastoral Team: As people walk through their life's journey, there are times when some wise input or friendly advice is needed. Join this team to help others navigate their journey successfully.
Driving Team: This team use their gifts of hospitality to welcome and transport guest speakers whilst they are visiting Citygate Church.
Event Hospitality: This team works together to deliver a vast spectrum of events with Citygate Church’s spirit of excellence. Roles could include, catering, hospitality and event organisation.
